1. The Fallas Monuments
These are giant sculptures made of wood, cardboard and other materials. Some reach several stories high. Each neighbourhood creates its own monument, making the festival a citywide artistic competition.
2. The Mascletà
Every day at 2 pm from March 1st to 19th, the Plaza del Ayuntamiento hosts a powerful firecracker show. It’s not about visuals — it’s about sound, rhythm and vibration. For many locals, it’s the heart of the festival.
3. The Ofrenda
A beautiful floral offering to the Virgin Mary, where thousands of falleras and falleros parade in traditional dress. It’s one of the most emotional and symbolic moments of the festival.
4. La Cremà
On the night of March 19th, all the monuments are burned in a coordinated citywide event. It symbolises renewal, letting go of the old and welcoming the new.
